Claim / For developers

Your code got merged. Your tips are waiting.

If the agent tipped your work, the SOL is already reserved against your GitHub account. Check it, link a wallet once, and claim it in about a minute.

Check your tips

Claims open at first run

Type your GitHub username. You don't need to sign in to look.

Tips can come from merged work in any tracked repo.

Three steps, once

After the first claim your wallet stays linked, and future tips are sent to it automatically in each daily run.

  1. 01

    Sign in with GitHub

Proves you own the account the tips were reserved for. We only ask for your public profile.

  2. 02

Sign one message with your wallet

A plain text signature that links your wallet to your GitHub account. It isn't a transaction and can't move funds.

  3. 03

    Claim

Everything reserved for you is sent to that wallet in one go. Future tips go there automatically.

What we can see

Claiming is designed to ask for as little as possible.

We can see
  • Your public GitHub profile: username, avatar and display name.
  • Pull requests you've had merged into tracked repos. These are public already.
  • The wallet address you choose to link, which is public on-chain anyway.
We never ask for
  • Private repositories, organisations you belong to, or your email.
  • Write access to anything on GitHub. The sign-in is read-only.
  • Wallet approvals, token allowances or transaction signatures. You only sign a message.

Questions

Do I need to have heard of Patron?

No. The agent tips merged work whether or not the author knows Patron exists. Your tips are reserved against your GitHub account from the moment they're awarded, and they wait there until you claim them.

Which wallets work?

Any Solana wallet that can sign a message, including browser extensions, mobile wallets and hardware wallets connected through one of those. You only sign a message, never a transaction.

Do tips expire?

Yes. Unclaimed tips are held for [EXPIRY] days. After that they go back to the treasury and fund future tips. Once your wallet is linked, new tips are sent straight to it, so nothing can expire again.

Can I claim for an organisation?

No. Tips are paid to the individual GitHub account that opened the pull request, not to the organisation or the repository.

What if I change wallets?

Sign in with GitHub again and sign a message from the new wallet. Future tips go to the new address. Tips already sent to the old wallet stay there, because on-chain payments can't be reversed.
